This is some of the feedback from our Free Self Defense Course in Calgary. It is a program that we hold as often as possible at various locations throughout the City. We also hold a similar Self Defense Course in Edmonton.

Thanks for the very informative and useful tips that we got in your free self defence course on Sunday. Wow! What an eye-opener!!!! We had a lot of fun as well as learn some very valuable “moves” that I hope I will never need but in the event that I do, I’ll be somewhat prepared!

What a great experience! Malcolm is a great instructor and made the class extremely educational and fun. I went in feeling like I lacked the strength to defend myself; but I left knowing I had the skills and strategies to protect myself. This class is a must for everyone, at any age. I will definitely attend more classes in the future.

The Self Defense Course has definitely taught me how basic and easy some of the strikes and hits can be to disable somebody quickly and effectively. Malcolm did a good job of keeping everyone’s attention for the 3 hours through his humor. There was enough repetition that have helped the moves to stick in my head.

The main thing is that Luke does appear to have more confidence. He now understands that his body language says a lot. He has learned quite a bit. I told him that we will continue to practice at home. I remind him to AVOID, ESCAPE and if he has no choice, to stick up for himself.
Your course came along at exactly the right time. It has helped tremendously. We have to take more!

I thought that one of the things that was most intriguing was how one of the female students (Amanda) was able to perform a take-down on a Male Instructor within seconds of being shown and with a minimum amount of effort applied.

Today, I learnt a lot of basic, easy, instinctual moves that may help me defend myself and escape dangerous situations if I use them properly under stress and fear. I learnt that strength is not the most important thing but knowing how to distract and where to effectively deter the attacker.
