We often get asked if children can attend the courses that we run for adults.
The trouble is that young children need to be taught different information then that taught to an adult so it is not really feasible to combine the two. For this reason we have connected with Jiu-Jitsu Calgary who teach Self Defense for Kids in Calgary specifically. This organisation teaches a form of Jiu Jitsu that has been specifically for Self Defense.
Older Children, from about teenagers and upwards are certainly welcome to accompany parents or other family members to the courses for adults.
Jiu Jitsu Calgary run a little Samurai Program that combines their system of Martial arts with Safety Awareness. It is a great program, teaching children some really important safety information whilst creating a firm interest in Martial arts through fun learning
For parents who want their teenage children in a regular program and not a one-off courses, the same organisation mentioned above runs an excellent Junior program.
