There have been some terrible things happen in Alberta over the last few years but there are also many situations that occur and go unseen.

Alberta is still one of the Provinces in Canada with very high rates of Domestic abuse. Oftentimes, this is one of those crimes that goes on undetected and kept quiet. Very sad but very true.

There is so much good information available these days that it’s hard to know where to start, you can search online or go in to your local bookstore…

It’s hard to beforehand what is good and what is not. We are preparing some titles for you here so you can be sure if you are getting good information or not.

We keep right up to date on many of the titles of Self Defense Books that are available. Some people prefer to buy e-books online, others will go to the store and buy their self defense books and some will simple go to the library.

These are all good sources for information but it is still difficult to know what to look for. Keep your eye on this page and you will see many of our recommendations here.

Learn to trust your instincts, we’ve all had that gut feeling when we know that something is wrong but we are not sure why. Those feelings of intuition are so important but don’t just listen to them, do something. Take evasive action or prepare yourself. If something appears to be wrong it usually is.
